How Florida residents can save on amusement park visits this year
Several of the state’s top destinations offer lower prices for Floridians with proof of residency.
Millions of people visit Florida from other states and from around the world each year to enjoy the state’s amusement parks. Many of these venues offer special discount deals for Sunshine State residents who want to take part in the fun.
Here are some of the offers currently available for Floridians only.
Walt Disney World Resort
Whether you are hoping to visit a couple of Disney parks, want to buy an annual pass, or something in between, you and your family can save money just because you live in Florida.
Four- and three-day tickets for in-state visits through May 16 are available at a lower price online.
A special two-day discounted ticket for admission to EPCOT and Animal Kingdom is also available for visits, through April 18.
For those planning to visit multiple times, the required down payment for a new Walt Disney World annual pass is $99, 50% of the regular amount.
Disney Resorts Collections hotels also offer in-state discounts for many nights this spring (now through April 30) and summer (May 1 through July 29).

Universal Orlando Resort

At certain times of the year, SeaWorld and its affiliated theme parks offer discounts on packages for Florida residents.
Florida K-12 school teachers are also eligible to receive a free Florida Teacher Fun Card, which provides complimentary admission to SeaWorld Orlando through Sept. 3.
